| Urban Regeneration – Sunderland Music Arts and Culture Trust
As sub-consultant to projects managers Buckley Burnett Limited, we assisted with development of a regeneration masterplan for Sunderland’s Culture Quarter. In 2015 the project team took a £2.5 million Heritage Lottery Enterprise Fund bid through its Stage 2 submission for The Old Fire Station Building, and also submitted a successful funding bid for a £6 million Auditorium to the Arts Council for the adjoining site. Our work involved specialist property appraisals and development cashflows to identify conservation gap funding requirements, working with architects and cost consultants to value engineer proposals.
