HOW WE OBTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA
From time to time we deploy camera equipment for the purposes of collecting data on the movement of people and vehicles in public spaces, for the purposes of software and product development and for the purposes of raising public awareness of the use of machine vision in the built environment.  We do not record sound.

Our camera locations are chosen to minimise the capture of images which are not relevant to the legitimate purposes of the monitoring.  Where we can, we aim to avoid capturing or storing any images which might identify individuals or be considered personal data.

We do not monitor Live feeds from cameras.

We ensure that recorded images containing personal data are only viewed by approved members of its staff and clients whose role requires them to have access to such data.

From time to time we publish images to a wider audience for the purposes of promoting public understanding of the use and potential of machine vision in the built environment.  These images are first audited to ensure that individuals are not easily identifiable.

No cameras will be placed in areas where there is an expectation of privacy (for example, views of domestic properties).  We do not carry out covert monitoring or surveillance.
